The Scruffs were Memphis' other great power pop group, lead by singer/guitarist Stephen Burns. Their debut album Wanna Meet The Scruffs? was released in 1977. A second album, Teenage Gurls, was not released until some twenty years later though it had been recorded in the late seventies.
